They’re all best friends, but separate and also together. After much insistence, four friends (Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sharman Joshi) make the decision to start acting as adults in their latest Bollywood buddy comedy Befikre. That’s why I thought it would be difficult to find a good script. It would’ve been easy for me if I’d already been a successful actor. I could’ve just taken a break for a few months and done the film easily. But when I started trying to find a good script I was so confused about what to do that I ended up joining a drama college and started acting. It wasn’t until I was 19 that I acted in a comedy. I wanted to experiment a lot with my own improvisation and the script was very minimal. Anil Kapoor: I’ve always felt that if I played a ‘romantic’ character, I’d be able to do comedy better. But when I approached Anand Mehra for this film, he told me that the role was an actor’s dream. It was perfect for me because it took me back to the time when I used to act in serials and do action-packed roles. I feel comfortable with all those kind of characters and that’s why I was ready to take this role. Arjun Kapoor: Befikre is a classic. We all love it and we all think it’s very entertaining and funny. I have huge respect for the film.
